Sewing on the Red Carpet

Twitter, I'm told, was abuzz when Anne Hathaway appeared on the red carpet at the Academy Awards in this Prada dress:

"Look at those nipples!" tweeted the ignorant masses.
But you and I know those are just badly done bust darts! Sewing is important.

    Could've been so gorgeous but that one element (well two) makes it impossible to take in the whole effect! You just can't look anywhere else.

    Those darts are possibly more reminiscent of 1950's bust shaping when they had all of the reinforced rubber upholstery underneath to give that ridiculously pointed look.The sort of look that made you wonder how much pain they might inflict if they bumped into someone.
    I don't think it was a very flattering style on Ms.Hathaway.
